Wednesday, April 29th, 2009:  Leader of the opposition, Dr. The right Hon. Keith Mitchell, is advising all Grenadian  students in Mexico to take all the necessary precautions to protect themselves from the swine flu which has resulted in the death of persons who have contracted the virus.

 

Dr. Mitchell says his prayers are with the students and call on the entire nation to remember them in prayers

 

Meanwhile the opposition leader is appealing to the government to cease from playing politics with the lives of the innocent young people and to take proactive measures to assist with the safety of the students.

 

According to Dr. Mitchell, regardless of which administration granted scholarships to the students they are sons and daughters of Grenada and everything possible must be done to protect them.
