The Leader
of Her Majesty’s Opposition, Dr. the Rt.
Hon. Keith Mitchell and other members of
the Opposition extend congratulation to
Lewis Hamilton for winning last
Saturday’s 2008 Formula 1 CHINESE GRAND
PRIX.
Hamilton’s
Pole position, fastest lap and a
lights-to-flag victory has put him on
the brink of becoming Formula One’s
youngest world champion in only his
second season.
The
opposition sees this as an outstanding
performance achieved by an individual
who no doubt must have been under
pressure following malicious attacks in
the Grenada Today Newspaper and on the
internet, which was read by thousands of
his fans throughout the world.
The
opposition believes that while the
damage done to a person’s name is one of
the most difficult things to erase, it
is hoped that with time and his success
the damage could be repaired.
